Mardi Gras, New Orleans Memories, and a Dream Put on Pause
Happy Mardi Gras!
As we celebrate, we're reflecting on our trip to New Orleans back in February 2020.
We had planned to share so much from this adventure, but unfortunately, most of our photos and videos were lost. So, for years, the few we had remained tucked away, unshared. But today, we’re putting them out there—not just as travel memories, but as a symbol of something bigger.
This trip was supposed to be the first of many. We had planned a year of travel, adventure, and work, ready to launch our business and finally start sharing our entrepreneurial journey. It all began with a leap of faith—a simple post on January 1, 2020, where we publicly shared our self-employment journey for the first time, linking to our Adobe portfolios after a couple of years of freelancing.
Without knowing what the world had in store, we took bold steps. We downsized, sacrificed, and embraced uncertainty, setting out to live and work from different places for an entire year, and collaborating with clients on-site every step of the way.
Then, just a month later, the world changed. The pandemic shattered every plan we had. While we were already accustomed to working remotely, the larger vision for what eventually became A-Game Creations had to wait. New Orleans became the only trip we took that year—a bittersweet reminder of a dream put on pause.
Now, years later, we’ve finally made a promise to ourselves: to create, to share, and to tell our own story—just as we’ve helped so many others tell theirs through our array of creative services.
Life is about embracing the highs and the lows, finding joy even in the chaos, and celebrating the journey—no matter how unpredictable it may be. We've spent years encouraging our clients to celebrate their wins, take risks, put themselves out there, and share their unique stories.
Now, it’s our turn.
