What Do You Love Doing?

It was the summer of 2017 when a simple question changed the course of Anusha’s life and became the foundation for A-Game Creations. At that time, Anusha was navigating the second year of her relationship with Adam, who had just started a new job he genuinely enjoyed. Anusha, on the other hand, was feeling the weight of burnout in her corporate healthcare role. Though she was passionate about helping others, her work environment had turned toxic, leaving her drained, undervalued, and searching for fulfillment both in and out of her career.

After taking some time to recharge, Anusha began applying to other jobs, landing interviews and even offers. But as promising as these opportunities looked on paper, none of them felt right. She wanted a role where she could genuinely feel excitement and growth. One evening, in the midst of deep conversation and reflection, Adam asked her a question that cut through all the uncertainty: “What do you love doing?”

This question made her pause. She knew she loved helping people, but maybe healthcare wasn’t the only way. Having spent most of her life on a pre-med and public health track, she realized she had a creative side she’d been suppressing—an artistic passion she’d had since childhood. Growing up, she’d designed invitations, edited videos, and created keepsakes for friends and family purely out of joy, never thinking these talents could be the foundation of a career.

In that moment, her path became clear: she loved creating and helping others, not necessarily in a clinical setting, but through creative expression. Fueled by this realization, Anusha took a leap of faith. She began offering freelance graphic design, video editing, and other creative services online, slowly building a client base of people from all over the world who resonated with her style and passion.

By 2018, Anusha’s freelance work was thriving. Seeing her success and inspired by her journey, Adam made the choice to step away from his own job to pursue his creative dreams alongside her. Adam, who had explored diverse job roles across his professional life, saw this as an opportunity to focus on his own passions, as a gamer and artist.

Together, they’ve created a life that balances their shared vision and individual talents, building an interculturally intentional life while pursuing their creative dreams. Their journey is filled with moments of discovery, creativity, and growth—and continues to evolve every single day.
